Admissions Guidelines

Duration: 4 years (8 Semester)

Eligibility Criteria of Admission

The candidate seeking admission must:

• Have pass Pre-university examination (PUC of 2 years) or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with science subjects, viz., Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
• Have obtained at least fifty percentage (45%) of the total marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• Have completed 17 years on or before 31st of December of the year of admission.
• Students shall be admitted once in a year.
• Married candidates are also eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

The candidate seeking admission must:

• Hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
• Be a registered nurse and midwife.
• Have pass a pre-university examination in the  Arts/Science/Commerce conducted by the Department of  Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
• Have a good personal and professional record.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

The candidate seeking admission must have:

• Pass BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic BSc Nursing Degree of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other university accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience after obtaining BSc. Nursing (Basic) or a minimum of one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic BSc Nursing Degree or Post Certificate BSc Nursing in a hospital or a nursing educational institution, which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• Registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
